How about weekly conference calls with your staff? It is important that all involved know exactly how communication will be carried out, why your using that form and how often you will communicate.

Next, is accountablilty. You will need to measure the productivity of your staff. Will there be weekly status reports filed? Are there tasks that are to be completed daily and/or weekly?

By tracking the completed tasks you can not only measure productivity but you are also helping your staff. You are helping them to think ahead and get tasks completed in a timley fashion.

Last, keep in mind your staff are normal people like you and I. Things happen, people get sick, life at times gets in the way. You will need additional resources to cover and meet these needs.
