Internet Success System Conference – October 2009

Ok…

I just returned home on Monday from the Internet Success System Conference in Atlanta hosted by Mark Hendricks for the ISS members.

And I have to say I had a great time. I always do though.

Here is a quick run down on what happened.

First… everyday included networking at lunch, dinner and into the late hours of the evening. I enjoy the networking. It’s perfect for catching up with old friends and getting to know new ones.

This time proved extremely good for myself and some others. I have another conference that I may get to present at in December. I am looking forward to that.

And… myself and my good friend Craig Sunney started a software project together.

Cant wait for the software to be completed. You’ll like it… All I’m going to say for now is that it is another way to get a boatload of traffic to your site.

So let’s go over the conference and what it included.

The conference started on Thursday with one of Mark’s famous Q&A sessions. These are always good. It is where you can ask any question you may have about the internet and internet marketing.

A lot of great questions were asked.

Then we ended the sessions with a presentation from Mark on how to strategically create and design the life you desire.

Very… Very… Good…

Friday we did part 2 of the strategic planning. Then I spoke about article creation. It turned out really good. Everyone created some articles for article marketing but we also used the articles for some other neat things.

You’ll hear about that in a minute.

Cindi Dawson talked about using audio for fun and profit.

And then we created an audio track from our article. The audio could be submitted to a podcast and used other ways…  Which we will cover here shortly.

Then I did another presentation on press releases. At the end of the presentation we created a quick press release in a little less than 10 minutes. We used a new PR template pack I created. Saturday… We did part 3 of designing your life. Then after lunch we created a video from the article and audio we did earlier. What is neat is that it was all done with free tools. Very cool…

Chris Lockwood did a presentation on membership sites. Chris is like the membership site king. They have been very good to him and he also just released a huge membership site product.

After Chris we had a surprise panel discussion with Jim Straw and Michael Penland. Both these guys are very classy and successful when it comes to marketing… both online and offline.

This discussion was great…

And then we ended the day with a special ISS dinner for all the ISS gold members. We always have one of these at every conference and it is kindly given to us by Mark at no cost to the gold members.

Then finally on Sunday… We finished with part 4 of the strategic planning session. The whole process we did was very eye opening. I really appreciate Mark doing this for us.

After that we had Joey Smith do a presentation on social media and social bookmarking. Joey has done some really fantastic things with Twitter. He is one person who knows what is going on there and how to use that platform.

Next we had Cindi again and this time she spoke about using Kunaki to create physical products. Very good information. She also released her new Instant Audio Magic product. You will be hearing about this product in some up coming emails and posts. Make sure to watch for it. It is for those who use audio on their web sites.

Then my friend Jackie Tulos did a presentation on Facebook and how to use the power of fan pages for yourself or the clients you may have. Jackie is really smart and talented in the area of social media. She is so good, she even runs campaigns for some candidates running for political office.

Then we finished the day with another Q&A session.

WOW… What a ton of information. It was a really great conference.

We learned a lot and made fantastic connections.

Well my fingers are tired from pounding the keyboard. Even my wife asked what the heck I was typing.

I hope someday we see you at an ISS Conference. The next one is in April so as we get closer I’ll let you know. You’ll be really glad if you come.
